    Hey

I changed the title. I'm sorry for the misinformation. The site, where I downloaded the audio track, had a wrong description. I just copied it without listening to it.

    Thanks for telling me.

You're welcome. Some great bands covered in the book like Black Flag, Fugazi, Minor Threat, Dinosaur Jr., The Replacements, Husker Du etc... Maybe I'll give Everett True's account a go at some point. Sounds interesting. Peace out!

Thank you, I'll try to check it out. I think I enjoyed it too, however there are some things that I just don't like, like focusing only on Kurt Cobain's personality or just maybe the fact taht Michael Azzerad wasn't as close to the band as Everett True was. I have read "Nirvana: True Story" first, and it beats every single other Nirvana biography I have read, so maybe that's why.

Fair enough. I read Azerrad's book on Nirvana almost 20 years ago. To be honest, I can't remember a great deal from it, although I enjoyed it at the time and felt it portrayed a fairly intimate portrait of the band. Not sure if I want to read any more books about Nirvana. I find it difficult even to listen to them anymore. It makes me too sad. That said, I highly recommend Our Band Could Be Your Life. Some great profiles on some of the most important American punk/hardcore and indie rock bands.

But "Come As You Are: The Story Of Nirvana" wasn't a great book compared to "Nirvana: True Story" by Everett True. And I think they didn't treat Michael seriously, that's why there's written in the book Kurt used to sleep under the Aberdeen bridge, although it's a myth. They just told him some stupid things.

Why "shitty" Michael Azerrad? I thought his book Our Band Could Be Your Life was a pretty good read.

There was no Madonna's assistant. They were making joke on phone by calling some stars, also Eddie Vedder, at In Utero session. There's something about in shitty Michael Azzerad's book "Come As You Are".
