I shot this with a Canon Rebel T2i strapped to the Jockey. The camera is so lightweight that I was able to literally tape it to the Jockey's chest. I used a Sigma fisheye lens T5.6 at 100 ISO with a 1/160th shutter at 24fps. This is pretty close to how I envisioned the shot. Jose the Jockey for Mike Mitchell agreed to operate the camera. The rigging was done by our Gaffer Chuck Linkes. The Lens was borrowed from Philip Bloom. The color grading was done by Jeremy Ian Thomas of Hdi RAW Works. You All Kick Ass!

  • Tell me what you want to do and I'll try to help. We gaff tapped the camera to the jockey's chest for this shot.

  • Cool test. Makes me dizzy.

  • Totally trippy. I have to stare at one point when I watch it. Thank for the comment.

  • This is pretty awesome. Imo I think you should of shot this at 60 fps or at least 30. Would of made it much smoother. Did you do any color grading?

  • that seems pretty steady for whats going on there lol

  • jockey vision hahaha

  • would love to have a camera like this. I would love to take a jaunt around the track on a race horse!!

  • Hi there, nice shot !! Just one question, how did you do that ?? I mean, hw did you fix the camera, is it on your head, i guess it's not in front of you face ? I'd love to do such a thing but i really wonder how to "stick" my camera on my head !!!! thx ;-)
