how come you can draw all this amazing hills and houses but your lip synching is really...sorry...stupid looking

Well, that's kinda blunt. But yeah, the lip sync in Vicia is really simple (2 positions). I was learning a new program and I didn't have time to do a very elegant job. For my next animation, each character has around 10.

That machinery is made up of colored pencil drawings on paper. It definitely couldn't crush a bean. :)

animating phonemes in Flash isn't a walk in the park, the easiest way to do it (in my opinion) is to make a video ( it doesn't need to be fancy) where you take your audio and make titles flash along with the words as they are said, you have to be sure to have matching frames per second. then you can see what shape and such to use as you animate.

even then, this was an amazing video, I can only hope I'll eventually be able to make ones this good, maybe after i graduate and go to college. =]
