Here's the PM I received from drcraigvideos (aka John Leonard) regarding thunderf00t's video "Thunderf00t DMCAed in William Lane Craigs Name":

Hi there,

These are my reactions to his "Thunderf00t DMCAed in William Lane Craigs Name" video:

1. Boy, what a cry baby!

2. Yup, thunderf00t's reputation as a liar has been confirmed yet again. Anyway, everybody knows thunderf00t is a liar.

3. thunderf00t doesn't seem to realize that "fair use" doesn't mean you can take anybodies film footage and upload them for your so-called educational purpose. According to thunderf00t, fair use is perfectly fine if someone records 60 minutes of film footage from somebody else's movie, then uploads it onto youtube with a 30 second commentary by the uploader! That's obviously copyright infringement. Not fair use. It's not an illegal DMCA if someone uses footage of mine that doesn't belong to them. Why is this so hard for thunderf00t to understand?

4. Yes, I DMCA'd thunderf00t (darn proud that I did too!). But what else is new? Thunderf00t has been DMCA'd so many times anyway. All I asked him to do is to mention my channel if he's going to use footage of mine. He refused to do this. He hasn't asked for my permission and he illegally steals my stuff. And when he does take my stuff he deliberately takes out the
image of the link to "Reasonable Faith." And I'm accused of censorship?!

5. I am not responsible for any of those blogsites or websites about theowarner and AndromedasWake. That's a lie started by theowarner, I believe. I am nobody else but
myself. Why am I not surprised thunderf00t is gullible enough to believe gossip? Anyway, the only websites and channels I've done are as follows:

6. I don't care to know anybodies personal information if someone makes a counter-
notice (it's not like they give their real information out anyway). Unlike thunderf00t I
wouldn't threaten them with some kind of genocide or holocaust. Many of thunderf00t's mindless minions tend to threaten his competition. I don't make the rules at youtube where they give personal info on people making counter-notices. I don't make threats like thunderf00t does.

7. Craig did not put up a video on youtube (which is true), but he gave me permission to
upload his videos. How is that a contradiction of putting up videos on behalf of Craig and Reasonable Faith? I wish thunderf00t can understand the distinction but then again he thinks deductive logic is wrong.

8. Yes, I mentioned thunderf00t's real name. What's the big deal? Last I saw, he made a video of himself (titled "My Real Name is........") telling everybody his real name is Phil Mason.

9. Yes, I do think that Phil Mason... I mean, thunderf00t got fired from Cornell because of
his comments against Muslims. If it's not true, then thunderf00t should at least correct me.
He hasn't. He just waves away the comment like it's nothing.

10. I think it's hilarious that people are mirroring thunderf00t's video "The Humiliation of William Lane Craig", because they're spreading thunderf00t's ignorance and problems with attention deficit disorder. First of all, it's a lie that Gerd Ludemann is a philosopher. Then
the funniest part was when thunderf00t accused Craig of name-dropping someone without the benefit of showing their argument only to show footage of Craig NAME-DROPPING THOMAS MORRIS WHILE GIVING HIS ARGUMENT! Ha!

11. Please, someone give Thunderf00t a haircut. He looks like a hermaphrodite.

That's all I have to say about the video really. Thunderf00t is in complete desperation of a
life. Thanks, and feel free to use this PM.

Even if drcraigvideos has permission from Craig to upload the videos, he doesn't own the copyright unless he actually filmed the original footage/created the original content - simply posting someone else's work doesn't transfer the copyright - that always remains with the original creators. Because he doesn't own the copyright, he can't legally file a DMCA complaint - that option is only available to the original copyright holders. In short, drcraigvideos doesn't have a leg to stand on. That would include drcraigvideos. In other words, you have it from the horse's mouth...drcraigvideos is 'pirating' WLC's videos without his permission.

@surfnord , I wasn't addressing the DMCA issue but the reason TF is now focusing his powers of lies and deception on Craig. Dawkins doesn't want Craig to be acknowledged yet ends up doing that regularly, even writing about him in The Guardian.

Drcraigvideos- Please try and understand this VERY SIMPLE CONCEPT. You DO NOT OWN the copyright to Dr. Craig's videos. As such, YOU CANNOT LAWFULLY FILE DMCA challenges when someone else uses the footage. It DOES NOT MATTER if you posted the videos, even with permission. YOU ARE NOT THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER. You are in violation of federal law each time you file such a complaint. Your 'understanding' of fair use is 100% wrong also. I am happy to cite statutes and case law if you request.
