i dont see any connection specifically to northern ireland, it seems to be about britain trying to be patriotic by creating elites whilst everyone else falls by the wayside. as in, "we dont care how many people we make poor or how many people die, as long as we can compete with america".

BNP !? You know anything about SLF. Jake Burns as the rest of SLF are from Belfast in Northern Ireland. Before Northern Ireland was Northern Ireland it was a province of Ireland called Ulster. To keep things brief Ulster became a battleground between the Protestant settlers and the native Irish Catholics, the British stepped in to try and sort things out.... blah blah.
