I just had a thought about all these abandoned farms... I would imagine that many of the men from the last generation, due to inherit the farm, were killed in WWII. And having no one to continue to work the farm the farms just went back to nature...

You said in this video there could be hornets in that abandoned shed, I didn't know Japan's climate could support hornets well into December.

Very lovely but also sad. There was likely once so much activity there.. and now looks like only a few people if that are still there.

Wow that was very magical, thank you! The first part when you showed a shed it was as if they left it and were intending to come back but didn't . It was almost spooky feeling to me, what happened to the people there and why didn't they come back? Beautiful video thanks to your very special personal narration, I feel as if I were on the walk with you. Your becoming a close personal friend I enjoy taking virtual walks with!
