(predjudice-vigilante)
They took me down to the hanging tree
For a love that never should be
They're taking me down to the hanging tree
For a love that never should be
They're taking me down to the hanging tree
I was lucky to find the love for me
They're taking me down to the hanging tree
Oh please God have mercy on me
They're taking me down to the hanging tree
My last thoughts are of you and me
I look up in the hanging tree
And your waiting for me
You were promoted tonight on a BlogTV Music show....dig it....be well *

Dark and brilliant... a space in time I wouldn't want to visit. Your song and the delivery of it captured the mood of this exactly. This song speaks volumes...

m'mayn.
you are on some shit.
your words are scary on this one.
especially for a black folk in america.
A lot of soul and feeling here.
where did you get the feeling and motivation from with this song?
it's deep and crawling for me.
very nice.
You got skill.
real skill.

Wow, this is a really powerful song! The guitar part is awesome and had me from the start... And I'm thinking the same as JimiBLong - for such simple words, they've got some really strong imagery! Excellent work Brad, really impressive

Great mood to this Brad. Great refrain. You''ve got a fearlessness to your work I like. Not afraid to leave space... and that space really works. Welcome to the Original Music Data Base Classic Blues Group. All originals... and you sir are an original.

hey brad...if it is not being too personal, what does it mean when you say you are "in the bush"....do you have a day job as a truck driver or logger or some such? or do you live part time in the bush and part time in the city? do you gig out with a band or as a solo? chuck.
