'Blues All Day Long' was recorded at a 1954 session that also yielded 'Chicago Bound' for Rogers and 'I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man' for Muddy Waters. The band members on this recording are Rogers (guitar and vocal), Muddy Waters (second guitar), Little Walter (harmonica), Otis Spann (piano), Willie Dixon (bass) and Fred Below (drums).
How did they do that? I mean, how did those guys record several classic in ine session? They are giants, masters. And this session is not the only example: read Little Walter's sessionography and marvel at his power and creativity!
Thanks for posting this.
Best wishes to all fans of the real stuff, from the U.K.
