Comparing Quantum Leap's Ministry of Rock drums to Native Instruments Abbey Road Modern Drums. All sounds are unedited presets.

MoR is powerful and aggressive. Abbey Road is more dynamic but less punchy. Both are good products, and keep in mind that MoR has guitars and basses along with the drums - NI's product is solely drums.

  • They serve different purpose. I am an user of MD but not MoR. I pretty like the dynamic of MD. Definitely, it's hard to beat a real drummer when using samples in slow tempo song. But technology keeps improving and MD sounds more realistic, becoming comparable to real drummers, IMO.

  • Does anyone know a good vst for metal drums that pref won't break the bank too hard. Does ni do a heavier one as I have a 25 Euro voucher from complete elements. Cheers

  • what do you think its better?

  • Totally agree with you. Both are very good kits but for totally different purposes. Thanks for the video.

  • Modern Drums for sure.

  • Great sound MoR has.
