Ivan Rebroff is a BOSS. I was thinking all along, I got this, I can sing this, and then he just had to do that high-soprano-type shriek on "tun". Showoff. LOL. He just owned the song, right there. I tried to get up to the note but my voice just goes flat..I have all his low notes though. What a guy!!

Good singer, crap version! I prefer the original. I hate all those noisy instruments in the background. A cappella is the way to go.

God bless you grandad for introducing me to Ivan Rebroff as a small child back in the 70's. I would listen to it, sitting on his knee and he would have tears in his eyes, so moved by this man's beautiful voice. And now it brings back such memories of childhood that I feel Russian too!!! Russia must be so so proud of this big, beautiful bear of a man. Thank you for sharing these videos with us all!
