Thanks for the instructions. I guess my next project will have to be making a tenor banjo so I can practice this. ;)
The slow motion sections are great. it should be easy to learn like that.
(Eternal trap. Easy to learn, difficult to learn well. I get in so much trouble like that.)

That tuning is often refered to as "Chicago tuning".

Very nice. Why that particular tuning--is it because it's the same as the top 4 strings of a guitar, or is it some kind of traditional tuning?

I wish I could claim old-timey authenticity but alas, it is because I new the guitar chords and I didn't want to learn a whole new set of chords.
