hibla.com: Passing Clouds March of the Dead '09 Samhain Haloween in Dalston Hackney

For the fourth year running, get ready to celebrate your creative dark side with the HALLOWEEN MARCH as we take over the streets of Dalston for one night. Passing Clouds calls upon all marching bands, flame throwers, luminescent phantoms, whirling dervishes and wailing banshees to burst forth and reclaim the streets of Hackney before rejoicing all night long to a wild vibes party at Passing Clouds.

Theatrical minxes STRANGEWORKS (www.strangeworks.org) have been swiped off to represent in Birmingham this year, but we will be carrying on the ghoulish vibes in their absence!

The parade congregates at 6.30 at the entrance to Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington.
At 7pm the parade commences down the Kingsland Road led by KWAME OWUSU and his company of master drummers and acrobats to Debeauvoir Square in Dalston where there will be hot broth courtesy of the Treehouse Cafe.
