flash on linux is even worse. it crashes ANY browser.
adobe is sabotaging apple and linux on purpose.
it's unlikely that they haven't the money to pay good coders.

there was one week I had over 50 crashes from flash player on youtube in 3 days

I watched this video with out flash using the html5 video player ( &html5=1 on the end of the url, it wil work for videos that are already converted) and blocking flash from auto loading increased browser stability over 600%
also this post is a test using Opera 12 pre-alpha

@Shayd93 - sadly I can't afford to be an Apple fan. But I did use them long before Windows 3.1 (which I also still have) was out.
But even if I had a Mac - how does it change the facts of what I wrote? You don't seem to care about computers being done right, so why be involved in them then.

@MrMarkehh - I haven't bothered with it recently, but when I last tried using it on Ubuntu - yep, Flash crashed my computer there too.
I couildn't believe it hung up a Linux OS too, I thought they'd be more solid. It's as if the Flash content is using memory that the Operating System runs in, which should be protected.
Similar happens with some software - it looks like they can't use memory management properly, probably because many coders thesedays use languages that do that automatically.

@Shayd93 - Flash shouldn't be able to crash a browser even. It's just a way of packing audio-video data & displaying it inside a browser - on HTML-only webpages ages ago, it's not that different to the embedded video players that were inserted into webpages with mere html tags and the name of the file to be played, and any parameters (ie - usual HTML web coding).
It shouldn't affect the browser, even if the data is gardbled - it should merely not play in the embedded player then.

He's right.
Flash at this site hardly ever manages to run videos without crashing the entire Windows OS.
The usual spam-help says the usual - update drivers, reinstall, use latest blah blah. Yeah, they were the latest back when they crashed then too.
At the end of the day - ANY application should NEVER be able to crash an operating system. It shouldn't occupy the same RAM that the OS uses to run in.
So even the shittest real software shouldn't be able to crash a computers OS.

God half people here who wrote comments are Apple lovers, HTML can't replace FLASH, NEVER! Neither Mac can replace PC and Iphone smartphones
