Reverse spear parry into a low stab

Gael blocks a spear thrust from the Viking by reversing his spear, stepping into the Viking's low stab and binding it to the right.

the only thing that bugs me about this technique is your opponent is wearing a mail shirt . A cut the the side like wouldn't do any major damage...maybe break a few ribs if you delivered a big enough blow.

@VikingWannaBe51887 Thanks. It's intended as an educational shot, for tutorials. If someone had mail, you could change the slash into a very controlled thrust.

Very similar to sojutsu, if there's one form of combat humans have perfected, it's the art of the spear.

Another good technique, unfortunately we don't allow spears to be swung in our group, only thrusts.
