RE: digging holes. My dad used to dig outhouse holes just about 5-6' deep! LOL Anyway, we had an old cottonwood cut down hereat our property in the city and the tree trimmer called me out side to smell. The sap from that tree was so stinky, he said the tree was tapping into the sewer system to drink!
Love your videos...the more you post the better.---.i've learned a lot...PS a deer scrapes on the ground with his hooves and rubs on a tree with his antlers..
Great walk with you & lesson. Did the walk help with the back pain? Can those Willow twigs be rebrewed once your tea is made ? When you say harvest in the spring, do you mean that if we harvest the willow we can keep it for use all year ? Wondering what kind of soap that it might make..........

Around here, cedar trees are the preferred rubbing tree. I often get deer in my shop with cedar shavings in the bases of their antlers
