Julian Lennon on ABC News Radio

Along with singer song-writer James Scott Cook, Julian Lennon stopped by ABC News Radio to discuss the release of the new digital charity single, "LUCY" to raise funds for research of the disease lupus. From now until March 15,100 percent of the proceeds from downloading single on iTunes will be donated to the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA), and the Saint Thomas Lupus Trust in Great Britain.

Both musicians have a personal connection to lupus. Julian's childhood friend, Lucy Vodden, recently passed away at the age of 46 after a long battle with lupus, and Jame's grandmother, Lucy Cook, has lived with lupus for many years. Vodden was the subject of a drawing Julian created as a child which inspired his father to write the memorable Beatles hit song, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." In addition to the single, Lennon talks about The Revolution, an entertainment investment company that assists artists with the business of developing, protecting and managing their brand.
