Blues in the Swamp: Awesome Louisiana Tourism Commercial

This is a really cool commercial for tourism in Louisiana. I filmed it from the TV. Yeah, I know, it's not the most technical way of doing a video. But I don't care. It's a good one with some AWESOME slide blues guitar. Hope you like it. Please rate it and leave comments. Thanks!

I started modeling and acting in the 80's and stopped after Katrina because I moved to Florida. Tried looking up old commercials I have been in and found your video. On the day it was filmed, it was in the 20's and the lake was rough. I was nervous about the canoe, tipping it because of the waves, but everything worked out fine. The waters eventually calmed and it made for a good canoeing day.

@racejade Awesome! By the way, I saw the commercial this morning on KATC from Lafayette, Louisiana just this morning. It doesn't air too often. What others were you in, if you don't mind my asking?

@racejade Wow, that's pretty cool! I'm glad you can look past the sub-standard quality of the video (unlike someone else who commented here), and still appreciate the material itself. I figure if I had a dvd recorder attached to my TV satellite box I could properly burn it and rip from the dvd to my computer to post it here in proper format for good display. But, since I don't have that, I just pointed the video camera. Not great quality, but it worked. How did you get to be in the commercial?

@mbradley111 Well, that's too bad. Such a great example of guitar music and scenery of the swamp, and all you see is a bad video. Well, like I said in the description, I don't care. You don't like it, and that's your choice. So what.

Thanks for letting me know about the airing of that commercial. Most commercials I can't find anymore, i.e. Payless where I was on a bus, Munder Funds which is no longer, 10K drink, Popeyes, Maison Blanche, Accolate, etc. I was in a few episodes of the cop show "The Big Easy" that aired on USA Network (not the movie). An extra in Pelican Brief but I worked my way up front take after take. They used the last take they did which positions me in the front so I am visible.
