Diddy Kong Racing Walkthrough Pt 27: Taj Hovercraft Challenge

When you leave Snowflake Mountain, Taj will appear and challenge you to another race. The Hovercraft challenge is longer than the car challenge, and the course is a bit more challenging, but it still isn't too bad. If you could defeat Bluey, you'll have no problems here.

The only tricky part is right by the start. The tunnel that you need to take that goes through the mountainside is covered by the waterfall. Because of this, it is difficult to see where the entrance to the tunnel is. Head through the right part of the waterfall (if you go to the left, you'll hit a wall).

On the other side of the tunnel, simply follow the Nintendo flags around the rest of the island. The bend that leads from the ocean area to the central area is quite sharp, so do a few bounce turns. Once again, Taj is pretty slow, so the only way you can lose this is if you hit too many walls or if you stray too far away from the course.

After you get your balloon, head to the next world: Sherbet Island.

Tiptup must be the most durable character in the game, I just don't know why you would pick him over Diddy or even Conker for that matter.

im good with tiptup.... he's my favortie character/driver.... i use him with the car
