It's an injustice that Donell Jones is not a household name. In this day and age for an artist to be in the game for 10 years and still going strong is an incredible achievement and Donell is one of those cats that doesn't get the props he deserves. I'm glad Donell keeps it real and pens quality music rather then selling out and changing his style to suit the teen-bopping demographic who consider Justin Timberlake as real RnB.

Actually R.Kelly proved that if you market yourself correctly with the new forms of music, you make more profit. Although some people hate the business aspect, you gotta role with what the people wanna hear, or at least, what they need to hear. Donell made some good joints though, he just didnt keep comin with what the people wanted to hear. He's now 37. He doesn't need to keep makin songs, he's accomplished enough. Gold and Platinum, nuff said.@DJIC5

Donell Jones as an artist is probably the most underrated one I've ever known, but he seems happy with himself, his career and his palce in the world. I can only say that he has deserved every success he has so far achieved, and wish him every success in the future.
This man is a vocalist, a producer, a writer, of REAL GROWN R&B.

The interviewers shouldnt even ask Donell about rinky dink neyo, chris brown etc. Donell is in a class by himself who has hit albums, but his record company doesnt recoqnize his talent. All music that is out now is catered to the youngins.
