For the Yashichi: You can try doing a diagonal grab standing on the edge of the second house under the lanterns so you can get closer, followed by a vertical latch. Don't worry about Spencer just hanging there... use the SHUTGUN recoil for a super boost and then let go.

I have no problem with them revamping things from the original game but the heli soldiers were much cooler than those laser drones that replaced them.
Truth be told, Omar, I like this game and the original one over the new Bionic Commando game that came out this year. The current one feels more like a Metal Gear ripoff and what's up with Rad Spencer with dreads? He looks like more like a hippie than a GI soldier.

But you gotta admit that this - and the original Bionic Commando - are incredible games/

Why did they get rid of the heli soldiers in this level and replace them with those stupid pod machines? The heli soldiers were the most memorable part of area 5 in the original game.

Actually, don't keep trying. I tried it the way he had in his video at least 50 times, and didn't even come remotely close to getting on the block. I don't know how he did it. I tried going up one more level, and got it on one try, so anyone that's having difficulty getting this one, try the level above the one shown in the video.
Seriously, how in God's name did you get it from there? LOL!
