  • Brooklyn Brewery is WONDERFUL! I hope I can find this one.

  • @loosilu Yeah they make some nice beers. You should be able to find it. Cheers!

  • Thanx for your great review. We hope you will also enjoy our other wheat specialities.

We posted your review on our facebook fanpage.

    Many greetins from Germany.

  • @schneiderweisse7 No problem, i really enjoy your beers, coming from you it means alot to me. Thanks! I also recently reviewed your Aventinus, and i will probably review more of your beers in the future. Greetings from Denmark!

  • Hey Peter,

yeah, the TAP5 is actually a Hefe Weizen Double Bock.

In Germany it belongs to the category Starkbier

I can drink one or two but i'm not so much into strong beers.

It's a very good beer though, from a good brewery, they know their stuff..

Don't drink too much Weizen Bock in the sun, you will get tipsy very fast ;-)

Try to find some regular german Hefe Weizens dark or light!

    Joe from Germany

  • @JoeHell67 Cool, i really loved it, but as you said drinkin' a few of these in the sun will get you tipsy fast! Im deffinetly gonna review some, i get alot of different ones. As far as i recall i get all the major German Hefe Weizens, like Paulaner, Schneider, Maisels, Wheinstephaner, Franziskaner etc. I actually have a bottle of the Schneider Weisse Original in my fridge right now :-D Cheers!

  • @FixedGear @FixedGear Cool, well im not sure but i belive it is basicly the same beer. But this one might be a bit different then, maybe a more polished version. But the one i had was also pretty fresh. But yeah it is really good stuff, gald you like bro! Cheers!

  • I went out and grabbed this today after seeing this review. The one I was able to get has the yellow label "Hopfen Weisse". It poured thinner than yours and was as far as I can tell not as aromatic. It was nice, and the bubble gum was less pronounced than in your review. This beer is VERY drinkable and just as you say - a fusion of an IPA and a wheat beer. About $3.50 in NYC. Good stuff.

  • @Chad9976 Haha cool :-)
