No matter your paticular training if you get ambushed and outnumbered, getting wounded is a very possible situation.Although I agree this particular scene is stupid without context, because why the fuck would the cartels shoot them?, you need to acknowledge that even if the cartel's gunmen suck (and they do) those are still F2000's (and the cartels can access that equipment) shooting at you.
