MIDI-Out for Record!!

Come on, Kurt. You know you want it! What with all that hardware you own. Ironic really that you've found a way to control CV analogue gear from Reason but we can't actually control our MIDI gear from Record/Reason!!

Man that's really cool. Good work. How did you come up with this? The idea of controlling analogue hardware from Reason is crazy. Got me thinking though. If Propellerhead's had bothered to add MIDI out to Record you could have just controlled everything from that with a MIDI > CV converter. Man I hope the Prop's add MIDI-out to a future version of Record.

If you make songs on a 303 or 808 (multiple patterns chained) do you have to start from the beginning everytime you stop the clock?

Hi

How hard would it be to implement this with Volta? Do you think they will provide for this?
I guess Id need the special cable.

I don't see why you couldn't do this with volta. Just create a gate signal and a 24ppq clock synchronized clock pulse.

I'm not sure about chained patterns. I think it probably continues at a point where the song arrangement stops and would require a manual reset to the first measure.
