Great film and great time the 20s. In New York then, if you wrote a witty short story and got it published you were the toast of the town! I love JJL as Dorothy! She's vitriolic as acid yet smooth like old scotch that flavors her voice.

@15scottie If you had ever heard a recording of Dorothy, that is a lot like how she spoke. Dorothy was often drunk and slurred her speech most of the time.
