  • i'm athiest as well....the Torah seems like a collection of writings from different authors in different ages....

    i would say the process of codifying it began in Babylon circa 500BC...its oral tradition could be older though..

  • @skabudaw1 There is much internal evidence that the Tanakh esp. the Torah is very ancient & thoroughly Jewish. I am an atheist but I find the minimalist school unconvincing.
