  • @TalesOfWar No currently radar is capable of tracking a F-22 if we conclude that the Irbis-e is the most powerfull today radar. it tracks a target the size of 0,01 m2. now the F-22 is stated to have a 0,0001 m2 RCS.

    - Long range missiles also have a poor kill-ratio. especially the early ones.

  • mig -31 was first aircraft that used phased area radar

  • @subzyro5 The Mig31 is capable of MACH 2.8, which is 3,000 Km/h, that's more than half a MACH faster than the F-22. The F-15 is also .4 MACH slower and the F-35 is a full 1.2 MACH slower. These things just have to lock on with their VERY long range powerful sensor array, let loose a few missiles, then bug out long before any of those other aircraft even see them on their scopes.

  • Haha, with 260 rounds it could only fire the GSh-6-23 for 2 seconds. Not that you should need to fire it.

  • @subzyro5 Kid please not again.

  • @subzyro5

None of these "F"s couldn't even get to Mig-31 close enough to launch a missile...

  • @subzyro5 of course it can. In serbia 1960's technology blew an f117 out of the sky. Nothing is 'invisible' and like the serbs said 'we are sorry -- we didnt know it was invisible'

  • @subzyro5 Doesnt need good avionics. It has a powerful radar and can stay FAR away from incoming aircraft. it only needs to be in the air long enough to punch out 4 missles and let them do the rest as it flies back home. done.

  • the mig-31 doesnt have advanced technology and good avionics

  • @evilintel the mig-31 can be destroyed easily by an f-22,f-35,or an f-15 silent eagle
