Geisha Makeup

This is a 'show and tell' video of Beni (紅) a traditional Japanese makeup as worn by Geisha.


I'm going to post it as a video response to Paperlilies 'Good Design' because it is;

Simple
Traditional
Natural
Renewable
Beautiful
Effective
Better than the modern equivalent

What more could you ask for in Product Design?

@pnkrockerchik762 It used to be made out of lead I think, but the health problems were terrible, so it's now made of rice.

the lip brush is from a company called hakuhodo. the guy who owns the company named the brush after his wife. The company makes the brushes by hand.
