The CA teachers UNION do not give a shit about kids education, they only care about getting paid. They lobby for ILLEGALs so they can hire more teachers. Even if we gave 60% of our state budget to K-14 education it still would be substandard. We need to restructure how we spend the money to provide the services effectively to the people of our state. Spending Washington D.C school district sized money would not give miracles either.

I am a high school student in California. It is disgusting what they are doing to out school system. I am truly appalled. I cannot go to summer school, or get money for college because my government is so irresponsible and over spends.
