  • Thans for your nice words! When I was younger I used to spend the summer

months onGreek Islands. I was a backpack-tourist and spent part of the best

time in my life on Greek islands (Corfu, Crete and Patmos)

It's a pity, that you cannot get a Greyhound. They are so loving creatures...

  • excellent video, i love greyhounds, can you tell me the composer of the music for the video please ?

  • The music is from the soundtrack of the

    film: 'LADY IN THE WATER'...

    Greetings,

    Marion

  • I'm in the process of adopting a greyhound. The one thing they stress over and over is NEVER leave a greyhoung off it's leash unless it's in a fully enclosed area. I don't think the beach counts as 'fully enclosed'. As great as it is to see them run it's an awful risk to take. The dog WILL run into traffic and a car WILL hit it. At 45mph a car has no chance to stop. Just my two cents.

  • Thanks for your comment! I got my Greys as

puppies, they are obedience trained and used

to being off-leash since puppy age. The beach,

where I take my Greys, is very far away from

traffic, so no possibility to get hit by cars...

  • 10 honors! Whoohoo!

  • They will be gone in a few hours...

  • Once a greyhound owner, always a greyhound owner...

  • Awesome video, thank you! We have our first rescue greyhound. Not being a "dog person" all I can say is that this is the BEST pet experience you can have. No matter where you are, you have room for a greyhound. Check out the local rescue groups for more info and an opportunity to "meet the hounds"

    Bless you.

  • Beautiful pics! Well done x

Great work being done at Greyhound Rescue Fife, UK.

To follow one the dogs foster diary click on our channel!!

  • Amazing vid!! I tried to adobt a Greyhound but they couldn't sent it in Greece :( ... And I live in an island without any any cars or dangers for a dog! Hydra, Greece :)!!!

  • what a great video!made with a lot of love for these beauties!!respect.............

  • Wonderful video.......I loved watching your beautiful dogs, I recently lost my beloved Greyhound and I miss her terribly.

If its not a greyhound its just a dog!!!!

  • 1:04 : Breathtaking!

  • is adoption humane? Does this not enable the dog racing industry to kill more dogs and puppies?

  • I really enjoyed this video, especially since your greys resemble ours. We have a 13 year old brindle female with a white face and a 8 year old black male with white markings. Both of them are retired racers and wonderful dogs. Our last greyhound was a black male, who lived to be 15. I'm envious that you can let your dogs run on the beach. I love our dogs, but I wouldn't trust them to stay with us, especially if a small animal darted by. My motto is "A greyhound on every couch".

  • Lovely pics! Greyhounds rule. If you want a dog, adopt a greyhound. You won't regret it - I promise.

  • man streamline dogs. i love fast dogs.

  • Love this vid your greyhounds are stunning! We have a lurcher mostly greyhound and he is the most wonderful dog wish more folks would adopt them.

  • Please if you can adopt a greyhound. they are beautiful and gentle dogs. too many get put to sleep after their racing career is over.

  • carino

  • Lovely video & song, go together perfectly. The brindle one remind's me of my Elvis. He won Best Veteran & Vintage Greyhound 2009 of the Baslow Show, Bakewell.I love him:)

  • Adorable video:)

Greyhounds are the best dogs we've ever had :) tehy're so loving, gentle and kind ...

  • You don't need to be rich to have a greyhound. Please, go to your local shelter, and adopt one. Most greyhounds end up in shelters after hunting season.

Most of them not older than 1 or 2 years.

  • woooow....... spectacular photos! They are truly beautiful creatures, I cant wait to adopt one..

  • I think Greyhound is the fastest of all dogs. Not my type of dog, but they run very fast.

  • i have a greyhound called Azzy. He gets on with my cat like a best freind, and he wouldn't hurt a fly. they are the freindlyest breed of dog!(but he just stepped on my foot and it hurt quite a lot)
