i used to be the jr high leader at my church, one day we took over a youth service and i was the speaker that night..i showed this video...i was also a worshp leader....i backslid a while after and went back to drugs..i just watched this video for the first time in over a year...i miss the presence of god :(

And I will affirm that no, the age of the earth is not a scientific fact. Billions of people would disagree with your "fact" because it is not yet proven.

And as far as God not just showing himself, well that would take the free will/faith aspect out of it. Go does not want us to mindlessly worship Him like robots. Love is a free and active commitment. If he forces us to love him, we have no free will, and that is part of being a human.
