anyone who digs this should look into the ways that using hemp to create paper and other fibers could slow down deforestation and the demand for lumber in a huge way

Seriously, the government should not ban hemp. it can ban stronger stuff but hemp could solve all of the world's problems- we wouldn't need to cut down trees for paper, we could use it for clothing, and as this video has suggested, cars. Could it help out with the military technology too? hemp + kevlar = the world's best helmets? I really don't understand why they ban this wonder plant.
