im stuck on the first lvl lol , i dont know what to d as i dont know were to go and there is gates with wooden blocks on it that i cant get past ive slashed it grenaded it and shot it but i still cant complete the mission :c

On any difficulty level apart from hard, there is a map available with a blue dot that shows you your next checkpoint. It is an open world in the sense that you can roam around most places but it may not help you progress in the game, and you could get lost. I recommend all to start in easy mode. :)
