A game containing the best graphics seen on the MegaDrive (at least to my opinion) along with some techno-ish music. This is a gem that Pfargtl9000 requested months ago, although the game itself is difficult.

For once, I have finally defeated the first boss after knowing to jump in order to avoid the spike balls hanging on each end of the boss's wings. Why didn't I do that before...?

Once again, I am linking a written review of this game which is from me. Got plenty of good feedback on it I must say ~ http://s1.zetaboards.com/The_RX_Community/topic/1106392/

  • I gotta say, I like this, especially with the commentary. The commentary makes me laugh.

  • @wabitgirl - I thought there was nothing special about my commentary. What did you like about it?

  • @CrashManEXE Just the "I figured out that I can avoid the balls by sitting in the wings...why couldn't I have figured this out in my last video!" and the comment about the flags and stuff. I dunno, it just added a bit of personal flavour to the gameplay.

  • @wabitgirl - Oh yeah, them. I've gotten some people telling me that my commentary is quirky at times :P

  • i don't like that game...

  • Why not?

  • @BlaizeTheDragon Yeah but they will get to experience an upgrade in how the game is played. They're gonna say "Remember the Xbox? You had to play those old games with a controller."

  • @TheAndiePerson You got to remember, this is in the 90s and with previous megadrive/genesis games being like sonic the Hedgehog and such, this game just blew their minds. Most people don't really appreciate the past of what gaming has gone through to get where it is today, it's why I hate the younger generation of gamers that are growing up around COD or battlefield because they well never experience a great thrill of upgraded graphics. It's a shame really...

  • @Tsicar Remember donkey kong country? This was basically a reply to it. I belive they both used the same pixel rendering style or something. If you look at the two, the graphical quality is pretty much the same. However, this game lost out because the levels weren't very exciting to play in.

  • They had this game at our daycare when I was a little kid. It was one of my favorites on the Genesis, even though I couldn't get past the second stage. I was enthralled when they put the game in Sonic Gems Collection.

  • @Tsicar That's that blast processing for ya.

  • Looks better than most Super Nintendo games.

  • I always used the "call a cab" cheat lol

  • As a kid, this game gave me a feelings i can't begin to discribe

  • So when this came out were people like "It looks so real!"?

  • let me just say, I appreciate this. this game was amazing
