Talk Radio legend Tommy Boyd runs into some trouble at his Play Radio UK show when, instead of dialing 9 to get an outside line, he somehow manages to dial 999... and panics!

  • @ianhitman I'm not so sure. If it was Caesar The Geezer, who has pulled the old "there's a comet about to hit the moon" stunt at at least two stations I know of, I would heartily agree, but Tommy Boyd's not much of a prankster, and he went on to apologise to his guest for being ten minutes late. But you're right... it's pretty funny.

  • Talk radio was ruined when they changed it to Talk Sport. It used to be a great radio show! I chatted to Tommy nearly every week had a great argument with him for fun wind up lol

    Bring back Talk Radio as it was and Tommy Boyd as well. When it first started it was the best show on earth people could phone in and talk about anything! Now its just boring sports 24/7
