if you looked you can see the entire feel of the game changed entirley,

started like a 4th person (bird view) it went first person and to consoles at 3,

essiantly,

fallout was abonded FOR fallout 3 to become the game version of apocolypse movies.

i imagine after 2012 started catching on they realized the amount of money they could make,

the first fallout came in the 90s.. it was an underrated game before fallout 3 made an apperance.. they're working on new vegas now
