xtreamer Scythe ITA KAZE 1000 fan replacement

Hi

I have finally received my xtreamer and i am very pleased how it perform. But yes there is a but, the new fan its really have an ignoring noise a high pitch, so i decided to replace it with this fan ita kaze 1000 from scythe. It should be the best replacement according to what i read in the xtreamer forum was the best rigth now. And i totally agree :-) there is no noise at all !

So i have made an little instruction (tried too) on how to replace the fan with out losing the warranty(i think).

I own a Xtreamer so i know what i'm talking about ;-). As you can read on the Xtreamer forum, it is not necessary to remove the front for an easy dismantling. I think it's best to remove this video so people don't demolish there unit unintended ;-)

But there is one thing that I find a bit strange.. Since the warranty voids when opening or replacing parts, you say that you have to keep the serial sticker for the warranty.. But as far as i understand the waranty voids when you do this trick.. Or am I wrong?

there isnt a smal fan that its better then this one and that it doent do anynosie?

i know that now there is xsc but i want to know anyway?

second thing is it possible to chang the ram ?or no?
