Axle wrap

@TheHondaAbuser They are commonly used in spring-over-axle set-ups. From Rubicon Express: "Reverse eye allows more positive arch than traditional style leaf springs, resulting in a better ride and longer life due to the fact the spring does not need to go into a negative arch to compress."
Only works for a**holes, however :)

@TheHondaAbuser WRONG! They are NOT upside down, they are reverse eye springs. In the future, try to be more informed before calling someone an a**hole.

yo thats a crazy pinion angle. thats half your axle wrap problem rite there, plus you could starve your pinion bearings of lube and fuck your rear up

I doubt your problem is axle wrap. You wouldn't get a thud with axle wrap, and it wouldn't happen right off the brake pedal, but when applying a lot of power.
I think its more likely to be a broken mount of some sort. Possibly a bad
driveshaft u-joint, but more likely a motor mount.
