@stinson33 Schwinn rider Donny Atherton. I'm in the process of going through you're other videos. Great stuff! I've always wanted to see my dad race and there seems to be a lot of old footage surfacing. That'd be really cool if you find any other stuff...let me know!

@boshwan527 Donny who? ....just kidding, I had a poster of your dad on my wall when I was 12 yrs old, he was awesome! Every kid with a Schwinn Sting wanted to be like Donny Atherton and I was no exception. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your dad as I sift through my remaining old bmx footage.

@seddy138 No, this race took place a year or two before Jim Bramer started racing. The two Jims in this video are myself and Jim Varney.

@bvonmoss Yes thats Larry Pacifico. He now lives in Florida. His son Larry still lives in the Western NY area and Operates/Owns Honey's Pizza. Racing back then was such a blast, Mr. Pacifico was so good for the sport and he supported my parents , Bill & Mary Ann Robins, in so many ways. Joe.

Jim, Great video footage but this is not from '81. I believe this was the year before. '81 had the double jumps down the second straight and the BIG (back then) Pro section designed by Stu Thomsen down the next to last straight. I was there. Awesome videos though.
