  • I never "Pre-filled" a convertor before, and never had a problem with any not being filled first hand.

  • That is why you should fill it as much as you can. Typically, you will spill some so it is also good to have a pan underneath it. If you have your tranny on a lift, you can tilt it and the torque converter to minimize spillage ;)
