Actually no it's not. It's a US-made V-150. The Portuguese Chaimite was based on the earlier US V100. Portugal eventually bought V150s from the US armed with 90mm guns.

Do some research first before you make accusations. Ignorance like yours is a big part of the problem in the Philippines. If people like you make sweeping charges without even trying to know the merits of a project, why would anyone bother to do anything?

How can he be telling the truth when you say there is no evidence? And how can you say the V150 is scrap in the US when the V150 was never adopted by the US military, it was designed as a private venture for sale to third world countries. The US did borrow a few earlier model V100s from the Republic of Vietnam and eventually bought their own, and the US Army has so far bought 2000 of the updated ASV-150 (designated M1117) for Convoy and Military Police duties. So is that scrap?
