Eject cage mech is damaged that all, if you ram a tape in to hard you can bust the teeth on the load and eject gears, it might be a simple fix and that one or two cogs have slipped out, only way you will find out is to take the back off the tele and have a butchers, the trouble with combi's is the picture tube hangs right over the video bit so access is limited and for-god sake don't touch the thing while plugged in cus the big wire that goes to the tube is high voltage so no unhooking it.

@patricknedz I guess somewhere of the tape loading mechanism is broken making it unable to activate when you insert tapes. But since I never had chance to open a TV/VCR combo I can't think of anything to do :/

Panasonic vcr from 1998
I'm having good time with it, and i favorited it.
It don't jammed tape no more.
That part when the JVC VCR is broken, let's see if any repair shops can do it for you!

Maybe you can't test the picture tube! Maybe the VCR is damaged and can't be mended!Respond to this video...

my old Panasonic omnivision tv vcr combo brightness is dark. there isnt a brightness button on and there isnt a button to access the menu. what do i do?

@TheNintendoman64 you would need to use the remote there would have to be some menu that can be accessed with the remote, if the remote is gone use a universal remote

Sorry I have a JVC TV My JVC TV Model # AV-K21TT2 Serial # 11471519 When I turn it on the audio comes on but there is nothing on the screen? What could be the problem?.

@saifunny opps this comment is very late, the only way I know of testing the picture tube is to find a channel with color bars that will show all the colors to see if every color and brightness along with contrast ratio is working properly
