Watching this video really made me laugh. Mazapanes were so common for me growing up that I never stopped to think about how it would be described to someone who never tried it. I always got them from the paletero, but now they're everywhere--even my local Target!

We are addicted to this... Kids and I and husband love this and puparinos so much. There's no other candy that's better than my fav Mexican candies
-
You are such an expert at opening Mazapanes it didn't even break
Mine are always all broken and crummy HEHEHER
In English this would be "Peanut Marzipan"

I'm from México! :P and I like Mazapan :P

Porque "foreign candy" si usted es mexicano, que no?

@acarord The candy was imported from Mexico. I was not. A majority of the people who view my videos are based in the US and other countries. A VAST majority of which do not live in Mexico making this candy, foreign to them.

Omg! Love these. I used to eat these all the time. There was a little market in Baldwin Park that I would walk to & buy these. Yum. Now I must go buy some! TFS!

@MrsLMLam Any meat market has them now. I think even Stater Bros' carries them. If not the Hi-Ho on Puente should.
