  • PTnippon, your videos are fantastic THANK YOU for producing them. You really teach them in a way I can learn and take your time and cover the details. I just started Judo April 2010, at age 33 and videos like this are a blessing to teach an 'old' dog new tricks. Thank you thank you thank you. Which dojo are you at? Maybe I can swing through for a practice someday :) Thanks for contributing on Judo Forum too.

  • why do i suck at this throw

  • Probably just need proper instruction and practice

  • Very good video! It is so hard to find technically sound explanations of throws. I have enjoyed all of your videos. Please post more techniques.

    Thanks!

  • Make enough of these and sell it on a DVD and I for one would buy it!

  • Very clear instruction here, great emphasis on what causes the loss of balance!

  • Nice de ashi variation, it looks a lot different from other versions of Tai O Toshi I've seen so ready to give it a try tomorrow! I'll watch uke's placement of the feet carefully, times when he puts his foot down are ideal

  • it was my faforite throw, and i`m trying to teach it to my son,but he prefer other ones, like harai goshi, tani otoshi, seoi nage, tsuri goshi, and others. But i dont insist ,he is doing well for 7 years old.

  • Adoro esse golpe, Tai Otoshi... Obrigado pelo vídeo!

  • i love the technique

  • @gabeisdamncool it's difficult to accomplish!

  • hola soy de tucu argenti. y estaria bueno que este traducido. un abrazo

  • I am doing Judo now for 14 years last 4 years I am teaching the little kids some throws and gripps with my master. You are good at explaining the throws, great videos. thanks!

  • Thank you for these videos. I sincerely appreciate them sir. I struggle deeply with doing throws. I'm best at countering them but not executing them. Which makes me very upset with myself. I will try harder now and now that I can completely really study this technique over and over through this video I hope that I will be able to do it and incorperate them into my nagewaza. :) Blessings and success to your dojo and students.
