Many say all that talk about a devastating pandemic is just fear-mongering. Some blame urgent public health alerts and also breathless media coverage for creating an over-reaction that disrupted many people's lives. (May 7)

I have Swine Flu. I can tell you it's exactly like the normal flu. People with normal flus get hospitalized and die. Swine is just another strain. It's nothing special and this has absolutely been blown out of proportion. It's only deadly if you are a baby, old, pregnant or have an underlying medical condition that inhibits your immune system. I think people are taking this way too far and really should think about it more before going nuts.

no the government did not create this to wag the dog you dumb shit. we have known for a while that this and all viruses mutate, like it or not pandemics happen. i dont think we should lose our minds over it, but sticking your head in the sand is not an option. at least not an option to me. and no i dont rely on the media for my opinion, the journal science has spoken of the next flu mutation for years now, once again its biology not media hype.

a smart idea would be to create a flu season break from school. i am a father of two, and may take all precautions. but kids dont care, why do we over look this strategy? keep kids out of school for the begining of flu season, this just makes sense to me..

AIDS is in MOST cases is spread from people been not having self control, or having addiction thing (needles) , though mother to newborn child thing is sad as is orphaning of children, but this flu thing can be stopped and treated , AIDS thing can be stopped by prevention for now at least but sum people just dont want to listen.
