An apology to atheists and homosexuals from a Christian.
Perhaps I should clarify what i mean by apologize. I am not taking responsibility for their actions and acting as if my apology pardons their actions. I don't have the authority to do that.
What I am doing is expressing my regret, sympathy, an shame on their behalf. It is a way to publicaly condemn the behavior of fellow Christians and openly empathize with their victims.

  • Where in the Holy Bible does it say that Jesus died for your sins and that you should not be ashamed and feel guilt for your sins? This is the most evil thing anyone can say about Jesus. Jesus actually said that you won't go to heaven unless you keep the commandments and he even said that you have to live as he lived, which means "praying to avoid temptations throughout the day". By the way watch Dr. Zakir Naik's videos on youtube of his question and answer sessions with Christians.

The Bible talks about Jesus dying for our sins quite often, but where in this video does it say we shouldn't feel ashamed or guilty for or sins?

I think you are ignoring the context and clear intention of Jesus words in reference to keeping the commandments. He makes it pretty clear that Jesus thinks we are all incapable of actually keeping the commandments and that salvation comes through Him.

  • since you believe in god, won't you go to hell for believing that it's wrong to victimize homosexuals?

  • @droptozro ...then read John 14:15, John 15:1-10, 1 Peter 1:13-21, 1 John 2:1-10, 1 John 3:1-10, 1 John 5:1-5, Hebrews 3 and 4(compare this to 1 Cor 10), and then read all of the letters to the 7 churches in the book of Revelation. Read the warnings, read the fact that Jesus "knows their works," and knew when certain ones were in sin and needed to repent or they'd be cut off, and knew when their works weren't good enough.

Think about these things and study over them, then obey. God bless

"He makes it pretty clear that Jesus thinks we are all incapable of actually keeping the commandments and salvation comes through Him"

If you mean the Mosaic law, I'd agree--but the natural law, the law of love, then you would be incorrect. You are required to obey... go look at all these verses contextually.

Read Matt 7:24-29--realize Jesus ended His teaching for the last 3 chapters with this...obey or you're on sand, and you'll fall in tribulation/temptation.

  • @MegaGayjesus Debateable.

There's no real record of Jesus as depicted by the bible of existing, in that there are no contemporary accounts. However, we have enough evidence to conclude it's more than likely some Jewish philosopher named Jesus probably existed at some point...I find that to be rather...well...non controversial.

  • @BigLundi There certainly is no record of "Jesus" ever having existed.

  • Well...let me start off by saying I don't really like playing partisan politics with christ...but he was quite the politician himself. He did lay out policies for mankind to follow. He's not sitting in heaven saying let's make a deal. His word is the deal.

  • Wow, that was a real Christian right there. If all the Christians out there were like him, the world would be a much better place, and god would be proud.

  • Conservative Christians on the right do not think they have a monopoly on God! I don't really care for what this guy is saying to be honest. He's using class warfare putting the poor against the rich. And the left against the right. And he's being an apologist for people of faith. I think thats kind of messed up. Don't apologize for how I live my life pal. Apologize for yourself and how you live your life.

  • @Epydemic2020

Go look for how to learn the truth instead of looking for a way to reason what you already believe.

  • @jaykulls

I discuss the various reasons I believe in God and in particular Christianity on this channel. I will be systematically working my way through the arguments for belief in God, and addressing the arguments against it. So far I have worked my way through the moral argument, but will also cover the cosmological and teleological arguments.
