What's with the noise restrictions? Seems kind of odd to have people out there measuring noise levels on a private course.
I understand if a bike is unreasonably loud that it would annoy the other riders, but the guy talking made it sound more like they were going to care about exact decibel levels and were going to be measuring in different places and be really strict.

Some kind of noise bylaw in Monterey I think. It's not imposed by the track day organization.
