I am pretty sure that an individual will be able to look at you and determine what race you are before you hand them your social security card!!!

honestly if you have an even number consider the fact that you may not be considered white. i.e. sicilian italians, spanish, middle eastern etc.

@bullets306 Why look for hidden agendas... because they exist. The Govt here in America is censoring the internet now. search for SSN Code, Meaning,etc. all it says is: 1st 3 area, 2nd group(?), last 4 serial. THATS BS! Back when I got mine in the 70's they sent you a pamphlet explaining they have a code built in to determine sex, year born, race, if father worked railroad, and some other stuff. Wish like hell I still had it to upload...but Govt would just block it anyway.
