This is a video tutorial on how to replace a damaged iphone 3GS home button/flex cable.
I searched everywhere when I needed to do this and was only able to find pictures so heres my amateur video attempt. Hope it helps!

I think iw}t was a good explanation, just that the video it doesnt show clearly bercause it has been focuseed out. In general very good job.
A question , do you have a video to replace the sound? M;y iPhone it seems to have lost the power of the sound..it has a very low sound.

I don't have a video for how to replace the speaker. It's the bottom right meshed covered hole at the bottom. Look on YouTube. Or if it looks to hard just replace the the hole bottom dock connection. Including speaker and mic

I always get my stuff from eBay. 8/10 times it's decent stuff. And cheap.

Your best bet is to replace the whole dock section including speaker microphone and charging bit. You can buy it as a whole section on eBay. How to do it safely is up to whether you can do the repair yourself or not. For this I would search YouTube for disassembly of iPhone 3G/3GS as it will show you in more detail of how to do the fix. Otherwise if your not confident pay a professional to help you
