Study of the bible and archeology shows god had a wife and after the bablonian attack scribes thought god punished them for worshipping gods other than him so tried to write away the presence of Asharah gods wife. Who was by gods side when he came down to earth. Prettymuch all bible scholars not biased by faith agree that christianity in its foundation is not a monotheistic religion. The evidence for his wife is overwhelming, in the book and in archeology.

@darkangel10468 Yes, he IS talking to us. When he instructed the disciples to go out into the world to witness to all the events that took place, they did so, and repeated the words that Jesus uttered. The words that he spoke to the twelve are for all those that have and are following him. They are for all those that will also come to believe. He would not leave us alone but leaves the holy ghost as a means of comfort, and a source of knowledge.
