  • @spicyjulep

i'm telugu and i can feel the difference when its sung by a non telugu ACCENT

  • @mixdev Honestly, pronouncing 'Raghava' as 'Ragava' is disconcerting to me but the rest of the rendering was very good. BTW, the other rendering of the same song that I liked the best is that of ML Vasantha Kumari. Excellent in my view.

As for the meaning, search for lyrics of this song, you will see a translation by someone with a last name like tenneti. Pretty good translation (except for one word 'paratpara' which should be translated as the the Lord himself).

  • @svsrikanth I totally agree, I am from AP and I am happy to see someone is taking forward. Sarvam Narayana Samarpanam!

  • Welldone Nithyasree !

  • Saint Thyagaraja kruthis were wriiten in Telugu but widely practiced by the tamils

  • Where do Telugu or Tamil matter . It is divine music in praise of Lord Rama. Take a dip you moodha .

  • deliberate mispronounciation !

  • She and many Tamil musicians mispronounce words, but where are the Telugu people who can sing the songs? Most of them are nowhere on the scene. If people are particular, then the natives must make effort to sing instead of just crticizing.

  • I like this song .. it is heart touching

  • We must appreciate that Tyagaraja Swamy's kritis are patronized and venerated in all the southern states showing boundarylessness of the divine music. Let us not make our minds petty by pointing out some minor mistakes in pronounciation etc.
